Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the access to and use of the app.turing.com.br platform, its plug-ins, APIs, and other related interfaces and services ("Services"), offered by Turing Desenvolvimento de Software LTDA ("Turing", "we", "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you ("User", "you") agree to these Terms in their entirety.
If you access the Services on behalf of an organization (law firm, company, or legal department), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

By creating an account or using the Services, you represent that:
- You have full legal capacity and are at least 18 years of age.
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
- If you represent an organization, you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any provision, you must not use the Services.
2 Description of Services
Turing provides a platform of artificial intelligence agents focused on the legal sector, which includes, among other features:
- AI Assistant (Chat): response generation, document analysis, and AI-assisted legal research powered by language models (LLMs).
- Workflows: automation of legal processes with configurable steps.
- Grid: structured data extraction from documents.
- Knowledge Base: upload, indexing, and querying of your own documents.
- Integrations: connections with third-party services (Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, etc.).
Turing reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Services at any time, with prior notice when reasonable.
3 User Account
3.1 Registration
To use the Services, you must create an account by providing truthful and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials.
3.2 Account security
You agree to:
- Not share your access credentials with third parties.
- Notify Turing immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Be responsible for all activities conducted under your account, except when proven that unauthorized access was due exclusively to a failure by Turing.
3.3 Organizational accounts
When an organization provisions your account, the organization may have administrative rights over your access, including the ability to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access in accordance with its own internal policies.
4 Permitted Use and Restrictions
4.1 Permitted use
The Services are intended for professional use in the legal sector. You may use the Services in accordance with the contracted functionality and these Terms.
4.2 Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to access the source code of the Services.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security measures, authentication, or usage limits.
- Sublicense, resell, rent, or transfer access to the Services without prior written authorization.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated access methods, except through officially available APIs.
- Submit malicious content, viruses, or code intended to compromise the platform.
- Use the Services to generate content that violates third-party rights, is defamatory, discriminatory, or illegal.
5 User Content
5.1 Definition
"User Content" includes messages, documents, data, files, and any materials that you submit, upload, or input into the Services.
5.2 Ownership
You retain all intellectual property rights over User Content. Turing does not claim ownership of your data or documents.
5.3 Limited license
By submitting User Content, you grant Turing a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to process, store, and display such content exclusively for the provision of the Services, including processing by AI models for response generation and contracted features.
5.4 Content responsibility
You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of User Content. Turing does not proactively monitor submitted content but reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
6 Intellectual Property
The Turing platform, including software, interfaces, design, texts, trademarks, logos, and other elements, is the exclusive property of Turing or its licensors, protected by Brazilian legislation and international intellectual property treaties.
These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights over the Services, except the limited right of use as provided herein.
7 Artificial Intelligence and Limitations
7.1 Nature of results
The Services use artificial intelligence models (LLMs) that may generate inaccurate, incomplete, or inadequate responses. AI-generated results:
- Do not constitute legal advice and do not replace the analysis and judgment of a qualified professional.
- May contain factual errors, "hallucinations," or outdated information.
- Must always be reviewed and validated by the User before any use.
7.2 Responsible use
The User is fully responsible for decisions made based on results generated by the Services. Turing is not liable for damages resulting from the use of AI-generated information without proper professional verification.
8 Plans, Payments, and Cancellation
8.1 Plans and pricing
The Services may be offered under different plans (free and paid). Prices, features, and limits for each plan are described on the pricing page or in the applicable contract.
8.2 Billing
Payments are processed through third parties (currently Stripe). By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges according to the chosen billing cycle.
8.3 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings or by contacting support.
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Amounts already paid are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law or by specific agreement.
8.4 Price changes
Turing may change the prices of the Services with a minimum of 30 (thirty) days prior notice. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
9 Privacy and Data Protection
The collection, use, and protection of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.
Turing is committed to compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law 13,709/18) and adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data processed within the scope of the Services.
10 Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
10.1 Services "as is"
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10.2 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Turing shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
- Interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the Services.
- Acts or omissions of third parties, including infrastructure providers and AI models.
Turing's total liability, when applicable, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the User in the 12 (twelve) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Turing, its directors, employees, agents, and partners from any losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Services in violation of these Terms.
- User Content that violates third-party rights or applicable law.
- Any negligent or willful act or omission on your part in using the Services.
12 Suspension and Termination
12.1 By Turing
Turing may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time and without prior notice in the following cases:
- Violation of these Terms or applicable law.
- Use of the Services that poses a risk to the security, stability, or integrity of the platform.
- Default for a period exceeding 30 (thirty) days.
- Judicial or administrative order.
12.2 By the User
You may terminate your account at any time. After termination, your data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable legal retention obligations.
12.3 Effects of termination
After termination, access to the Services will be discontinued. Data may be retained in accordance with legal obligations and backup practices, and subsequently deleted securely.
13 Changes to the Terms
Turing may update these Terms periodically. Changes will take effect on the date the updated version is published. When changes are material, we will notify you by email or by notice on the platform with reasonable advance notice.
Continued use of the Services after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14 General Provisions
- Governing law: these Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
- Jurisdiction: the courts of the District of Campinas, State of Sao Paulo, are elected as the exclusive forum to resolve any disputes, waiving any other, however privileged.
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any specific contracts, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
- Assignment: you may not assign or transfer your rights and obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from Turing.
- Severability: if any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver: any tolerance by Turing regarding non-compliance shall not constitute a waiver of the right to demand full compliance with these Terms.
